Making leadership vision a reality through the creative use of metaphors

NTP delivers a series of innovative workshops that demonstrate just how powerful the use of metaphor can be in conveying messages about leadership. Through different metaphors, participants have an opportunity to reflect and gain insight into their understanding, interpretation and ways of dealing with situations.
All sessions are participative and people leave these events feeling refreshed and invigorated, ready to apply their new learning.
Sessions can be delivered for internal staff, perhaps as part of an away day. Alternatively they can be used as networking opportunities to engage external audiences.
Tuning into your team
working in harmony
This charismatic session introduces a dynamic vocabulary for discussing leadership and teamwork. Using the metaphor of music, it explores the parallels between music and business. What have jazz musicians or an orchestra got in common with managing your business? Come along and find out!
Leading on the edge
you don't have to close your eyes
This inspirational workshop explores the isolation that some managers and leaders may feel. Using the metaphor of climbing, this session will enable you to stop hugging the rock with your eyes squeezed shut and help you to enjoy the view.
"Participative, enjoyable and thought provoking"
What a performance
successful leadership need not be a drama
Leadership is about outcomes not behaviours. Consequently leaders cannot be developed by training behaviours. Using the metaphor of theatre this session explores how to become a leader beyond the ordinary.
" A great way to learn new skills and systems, offering time out to reflect on your own style"
Stop losing battles
change your strategy
Is your mindset preventing you from successfully implementing change? In this exciting session, the metaphor of the Hundred Years War between England and France is used to explore the pitfalls of the mindset trap, and to discover how being open to change can help your business.
